Aegon Classic

Aegon Classic championships started yesterday and Anne Keothavong (pictured below) has gone out of the competition already and at 29, Anne probably needs to start thinking about life after tennis as I don’t believe it’s going to get any better for her.
The defending champion Melanie Oudin also went out today which I was little surprised but she has had a tough start to 2013 and didn’t do particularly well at the French Open.

Tomorrow Heather Watson and Laura Robson will start their challenge for the title and I am quietly confident for both of them but I am particularly hoping Heather does well at this tournament as she needs the ranking points.
