Looking hot for the summer!!!


Recently I have really stepped up my exercise regime as I wanted to lose the baby fat that I gained and summer being here means wearing fewer clothes. This also makes little weight gain more visible J so about three weeks ago I registered to run the Race for Life 5K. I have run this race 10 times although I have not done any running since 2010.

However when I did my first run three weeks ago I was relieved to find that my body hadn’t forgotten and it really seemed so natural. So  there are some things that I have done or things that just help to motivate me to run/keep fit.

Music

When I’m running it really is all about the music and I do like listening to old garage music by Twice as Nice it really gets me motivated and moving quick....check out their music below
 
 

Route

As painful as it is I love running hills as I have find  that my whole body gets a good workout and when I reach the top of the hill there is that  real sense of achievement I always feel....

Clothes

I always dress depending on the weather I normally wear leggings and a top check out my attire below J
 
 
 
 
 

Food

Now food is a big deal for me...obviously trying to lose weight is not easy and having to adjust my eating habits is really difficult especially as I have a sweet tooth. However recently I have stayed away from sweets because in January I had three teeth removed....yes three teeth moved so I have not had any sweets since then.  Other than my sweet tooth I do like to eat junk food and the  key for me is trying to limit the junk food to the occasions....

Other exercise

On Saturdays I normally do circuit and aerobics classes I have only recently started doing the circuit class as it takes place outdoors and involves running around an athletics track which I think will help me to run the 5K...
